City Surveillance designs and installs hardwired security camera systems for businesses across Western Pennsylvania and into Ohio. It needed a site that sets a camera specialist apart from generalists and brings in qualified leads. The concept work also had to make good use of a large library of field photographs.

  1. Sorted a library of 161 photographs down to the 40 that work for marketing and prepared them for the web.
  2. Built a full-screen hero that looks like security footage, with a running timestamp, a recording marker and a motion box.
  3. Showed past projects as a record, where scrolling switches a monitor from one camera to the next as each project comes into focus.
  4. Added a ten-question assessment, "Is your business protected?", that scores coverage and sends a written report to people who share their details.
  5. Wrote a specialist-versus-generalist comparison and a section on NDAA-compliant camera hardware.
  6. Built a separate landing page for paid ads, kept out of search results, with two lead forms to compare.
  • Footage-style hero
  • Project record
  • Security assessment quiz
  • Ads landing page

Concept pages were built in July 2026, and a homepage concept was published on the client review site in September. The business's current website has not been replaced.
