Parcel Finder

The county's own real estate portal is slow to search. Miles Media built a faster, mobile-first front end for its own use that answers from a prebuilt index of the county's open property data.

1. Put a full-screen map first, with search in a bottom sheet on phones and a floating panel on desktop.
2. Built one search box that takes a street address, a parcel ID or a deed book and page, with street name autocomplete.
3. Built lot outlines, street lists and every parcel's record ahead of time from the county's daily files, so results appear instantly.
4. Made any lot open a property card with assessments and sales, plus owner history, comparable sales and tax details fetched live from the county portal.
5. Handed owner-name searches to the Recorder of Deeds' free index, with an add-on that puts Map buttons on that site.
6. Kept property pages out of search engines and added a privacy policy and terms of use.
