Animated Miles Media logo

Miles Media wanted its round M logo to animate in an email signature and on social profiles. The files had to be small enough to load fast, with a still version for places that block GIFs.

1. Drew the logo frame by frame: the coral circle pops in, the M wipes up from the bottom and the wordmark slides in.
2. Held the finished logo for four seconds after about two seconds of motion, then looped.
3. Exported square mark and wide lockup versions in several sizes as GIF and MP4.
4. Added a play-once version for email, so a logo in a long reply thread does not loop forever.
5. Led every GIF with a frame of the finished logo so viewers who see only the first frame still get the whole mark.
6. Made a static fallback image of each version for places that block GIFs.
