The brief

Environmental Charter School is a tuition-free public K-12 charter school in Pittsburgh. Its site had grown past seventy pages, and the two paths families use most, applying and following athletics, were the hardest to complete.

What we built

  1. Audited all 73 public pages and published an interactive site guide with every page, link and image.
  2. Redesigned the homepage and the four school pages in a lighter style that follows the school's own identity and green.
  3. Rebuilt the enrollment path, including Apply Today, in plain steps with one obvious place to start.
  4. Gave athletics its own section with team news and schedule cards that staff can update.
  5. Rebuilt pages from custom code into ordinary editing blocks, so staff can change text, photos and posts without a developer.
  6. Rebuilt the Along the River page for the new campus, with building-update posts and photo galleries staff can add to.

Where it stands

Redesigned pages went live in stages from July 2026, and the work continues as an ongoing engagement.
