Website builds start with a pile of oversized photos. Resizing, cropping, converting and renaming them one at a time in an editor is slow and easy to get inconsistent.

  1. Rebuilt the original single-file tool as a tested image engine with a fixed order: fix rotation, crop, resize, convert, save.
  2. Added three crop modes: ratio presets, exact pixel size and freeform, with a rule-of-thirds grid and arrow-key nudging.
  3. Added a target file size mode that finds the best quality setting under a limit such as 200 KB.
  4. Designed a dark window with a canvas, a filmstrip for batches and saved presets, plus a Finder right-click action that opens it.
  5. Stripped location data from every image and added optional AI suggested file names.
  • Batch processing
  • Three crop modes
  • Target file size
  • Finder right-click action
  • Saved presets

Rebuilt in July 2026 from an earlier version, with unit tests for resizing, cropping, output and naming, and refined through September 2026.
