Okane serves Japanese sushi in downtown Pittsburgh as a reservation-only omakase counter and a rooftop with its own menu. Visitors had to work out which one they wanted, and menu changes were slow to reach the old site. The restaurant also needed a way to take job applications.

  1. Opened the home page with the two experiences side by side, so visitors choose omakase or rooftop before anything else.
  2. Gave omakase and rooftop each a page of their own, with their own menu and their own way to reserve or order.
  3. Set the menus as real text, tasting courses and wine list included, so they read well on a phone and show up in search.
  4. Built a gallery from the restaurant's own photo shoots, with new rooftop photos added after launch.
  5. Added a careers page with a full application form and resume upload that sends each application to the hiring manager.
  6. Moved the domain off the old site and redirected the old page addresses.
