The Society keeps the record of the Town of Livonia and its six hamlets and runs a museum, all with volunteers. Its old site was slow and awkward to update, and the photographs and documents collected over decades were hard to find. It needed a site that stays cheap to keep online and simple for a changing board to maintain.

  1. Laid out the home page like an archive, with scanned photographs framed and captioned as plates and town history listed in quick-scan rows.
  2. Gave each of the six hamlets its own history page, so visitors can browse by place.
  3. Sized every image to the resolution the scan actually has, so the Society's best photographs are never stretched past what they can hold.
  4. Added pages for membership and museum visits, a photo gallery, news posts and online donations.
  5. Moved the domain and redirected every old page address, so links shared in newsletters and social posts still land in the right place.
  6. Kept the Society's email running without a break through the move.
  • Photo archive
  • Town history by hamlet
  • Museum visit information
  • Membership and donations
  • News posts

Launched in August 2026 on the Society's own domain, replacing the old page-builder site. The thirteen Celebrate Women of Livonia honorees were added with their photographs later that month.
