PKL Invitational

The PKL Invitational, the Pittsburgh King of The Links, is a two-man, two-day amateur golf tournament that has run since 2022. It had a real history and past champions, but nothing a prospective player could see. On tournament weekend, players also need the format and rules on a phone with a weak signal.

1. Built an immersive home page in gold on black, with a spinning 3D golf ball in the hero, to sell the event.
2. Laid out the format, rules and both venues clearly, with a champions wall and a photo gallery from past years.
3. Made a plain Quick Info page with no images that loads instantly on a weak signal at the course.
4. Put the application link in the navigation and on the home and info pages, plus a page for people who want updates on future years.
5. Added a sponsors section and an add-to-calendar option for the tournament dates.

Built in June 2026 for the tournament set for September 18 and 19, 2026 at Cranberry Highlands and Lindenwood. It is live at pkl.golf.
