Ziggy & Pam Sports Arena

The arcade needed a sports hub, starting with soccer and built so more sports can be added later. It had to play alone, with a friend, or on a phone.

1. Built soccer for one or two players against the computer, with Easy, Medium and Hard and two or four minute matches with a golden goal.
2. Added a side camera and a straight overhead camera, so the same match plays from either view.
3. Reworked dribbling so the ball stays with the player and tackles work best when you block the path.
4. Added keyboard, gamepad and touch controls, including a stick and Kick button for phones.
5. Balanced the three levels by simulating matches with a practice player.
6. Shared the cameras, characters, ball and sounds so the next sport can reuse them.
